1-Button Personal Panic

The DSC WS4938 is a single button personal panic button that gives all users the ability to instantly send in an emergency alarm signal from anywhere in the home. The WS4938 wireless panic button is small and lightweight enough to be placed in a shirt pocket or tucked away inside a purse.

To activate the WS4938 button, press and hold the button for approximately 2 seconds. The LED located on the top of the unit will light up to confirm a signal has been sent. When the central station receives an emergency panic alarm, they immediately contact the proper authorities to dispatch on the panic alarm without any call verification needed. The WS4938 is activated by a large, clearly defined button that must be held for full two-seconds to eliminate false alarms. A red LED indicator flashes after transmission to indicate that the alarm was sent. To ensure easy emergency access, the WS4938 includes a neck strap and a multifunction clip that can be mounted in a convenient location or worn on a belt, car visor.

The WS4938 is a supervised wireless device and sends periodic transmission signals to its wireless receiver to indicate functionality and battery life. If the receiver does not receive a transmission signal after a programmed length of time, a trouble signal is sent to the GeoArm central station. It is especially valuable for sick or elderly users, so that they can quickly and easily call for help in the event of an emergency.

The WS4938 uses long-life lithium batteries that are installer activated via a switch located inside the unit, a feature that helps maximize battery life. The WS4938 is compatible with all of DSC's current wireless receivers and uses reliable 433MHz wireless technology.
